On 6 October, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, during the talk with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, mentioned the International Project Russian Seasons and its importance in the strategic partnership between Russia and Uzbekistan.
“We are grateful to the Uzbek leadership for supporting the international project Russian Seasons in the republic this year, within the framework of which numerous educational master classes and art exhibitions, film screenings and theatrical performances were organized,” said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“In turn, residents of Uzbekistan highly value the cultural events which take place in our country as part of the Russian Seasons project. During our negotiations, we agreed to organize mutual Days of Culture, Arts and Literature in the two countries in the coming years,” emphasized the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The “Russian Seasons” project is taking place for the first time in Uzbekistan in 2023. It is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
